Putin: Russia’s budget reliable, balanced in spite of cuts

MOSCOW, Oct 27 (PRIME) -- Some spending articles of Russia’s budget were reduced, but the budget is still reliable and balanced, President Vladimir Putin said late on Thursday during a meeting with young scientists and specialists of the space industry.

One of the scientists said during the meeting that sequestering of the space program reduced the speed of development of reusable carrier rocket Amur.

“Well, this was not sequestering. A certain reduction of some articles of the budget has taken place, but our budget is still large, reliable, and balanced. Everything depends on the readiness of the industries, including the space industry to master some segments of their work,” Putin said.
